In 1995, KOSTAL Industrie Elektrik, owned by Leopold Kostal GmbH & Co. KG, was established as an independent division. It was transferred into a legally-independent limited company in 2004.
In order to be able to respond with even greater flexibility to our customers' wishes, all of the company's functions were combined at one location following the move to Hagen in April 2005.
In December 2006 KOSTAL Solar Electric GmbH was founded as our international sales organisation for KOSTAL photovoltaic inverters PIKO.
Our philosophy of "smart connections" is based on our comprehensive experience combined with the group competitive advantages and success factors guiding how we operate. In the harmonious interaction of these advantages and factors, we create smart connections between our customers and ourselves as well as between product and application solutions and their users. Associations, which are thought out and designed for long-term success.
