KOSTAL Industrial Electronics with a new junction box at the SNEC in China

KOSTAL Industrial Electronics GmbH will be presenting its new SAMKO 140 08 PV junction box from May 14 to 16, 2013 at the SNEC PV Power Expo in Shanghai, China, in hall E2 at stand 328. With this solution KOSTAL combines the central advantages of the proven leadframe technology with the requirements of the Chinese market. In combination with a grouting solution, this ensures ideal heat distribution. Optimal reliability is ensured through the minimization of contact points. Innovative terminal elements provide a high degree of safety and cable relief.

Following the good response last year, we will now be taking part in the SNEC for the second time. As one of the world's largest photovoltaic trade fairs, the SNEC provides the ideal opportunity to present our PV module connection technology on the Asian market.

In addition to our innovative product solutions, we trust in a direct exchange and personal dialogue. We would be very happy to welcome you at our exhibition stand 328 in Hall E2.

KOSTAL Industrial Electronics smart connected with the location Hagen

With the completed relocation of KOSTAL Industrial Electronics in the beginning of this year a company moved to Hagen which feels bound to the region and engages itself locally – according to the “Smart connections.”-philosophy .

Two business units of the KOSTAL Group shared a building with a surface of 14,700 square meters at the Hagen site in 2005. In the following years KOSTAL Industrial Electronics grew continuously with its core product fields of photovoltaic and drive technology, so that the room situation was too narrow and further premises in other cities in the region ‘Märkischer Kreis’ had to be rented. Since 2013 the hometown attached company is the sole owner of the building in Hagen, Lennetal. Here around 500 employees develop, produce and distribute PIKO inverters and SAMKO solar module junction boxes for PV systems such as the drive controller platform INVEOR. With the centring of all functional areas also the training centre moved to the headquarters in Hagen. In this modern facility it is planned to realize over 100 trainings for wholesaler, installers, partners and customers.

The connection of KOSTAL Industrial Electronics with the region around the location Hagen is shown in different activities: The company maintains a cooperation with schools, university establishments, sports clubs, but also with groups of experts in the field of renewable energies. Furthermore, KOSTAL has been involved on working groups of Hagen and thus supports the constructive dialogue between economy and local politics. Thereby not only numerous causes for thought but also diverse forms of cooperation resulted. Here the “Smart connectioncs.”-project should be highlighted, in which the philosophy “Smart connections.” could be emotionally and musically experienced with the help of an own “Smart connections.”-song. Within the scope of this project not only a productive cooperation with an originated “Smart connections.”-choir from the Fichte Gymnasium, but also the idea for a “Smart connections.”-day evolved, in which different partner were brought together. This way KOSTAL establishes numerous smart connections within the region.
