KOSTAL at SPS/IPC/DRIVES in Nuremberg, Germany
After the successful trade fair debut in 2007, this family business from Lüdenscheid, with its company KOSTAL Industrial Electronics which was founded in 1995, will also be presenting itself at this year's SPS/IPC/DRIVES from 25–27/11/2008 in Nuremberg, Germany, at trade fair stand 1-258.
Ever since its founding, this KOSTAL company has focused on drive technology. While KOSTAL Industrial Electronics initially made a name for itself as a supplier of customer-specific solutions, this comprehensive know-how in drive technology was drawn on to develop an innovative platform for drive controllers. In cooperation with the customer, this hardware basis makes it possible to develop solutions quickly, in order to meet a wide range of requirements.
The "decentralised frequency converters" product line, which represents the first of two key elements of the drive controller platform, has been realised in time for the opening of the leading trade fair in automation technology. The motor-integrated converters in four power classes up to a maximum 22 kW offer considerable benefits to the customer, such as durability, quality, compactness, small dimensions and an optimal cost-benefit ratio. In addition, the modular structure of this product line provides existing and potential customers with the option of choosing the solution to meet their specific challenges, from a wide range of possible combinations. KOSTAL goes Europe – 23rd EU PVSEC in Valencia, Spain
After taking part in various trade fairs throughout Germany in recent years, the Hagen-based company KOSTAL Industrial Electronics will make its first international trade fair appearance at the 23rd EU PVSEC from 01–04/09/2008 in Valencia. In Spain's third-largest city, KOSTAL Industrial Electronics is presenting its new Standard PV junction box with spring-loaded terminal technology, which can be used universally. This KOSTAL solution is particularly flexible with regard to its possible applications and is thus designed to suit the needs of a wide range of customers. For instance, with the standard PV connection socket, cables and plug connections are freely selectable and the contacting and installation of the connector cables is extremely simple. Alongside this universal solution, various customer-specific module connection technology solutions will also be exhibited at the EU PVSEC.

KOSTAL completes takeover of ACE
With effect from today, KOSTAL Industrie Elektrik GmbH has taken over the Gummersbach-based company ACE. This company develops and produces central inverters from 10 kW to 150 kW. These products are a good supplement to the existing portfolio of PIKO string inverters, as they round off the upper end of the product range.
