We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Hansjörg Herrmann (48) as a new member of the Executive Board of KOSTAL Automobil Elektrik (KAE) as of September 1, 2021.
As COO, Hansjörg Herrmann will assume responsibility in the KAE board for the global plant network with the areas of operations, industrialization and purchasing, which were previously managed by Kai Knickmann in personal union with the CEO role. Hansjörg Herrmann also heads the Europe+ region with production companies in Ireland, Spain, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Ukraine, Morocco and Germany.
With more than 20 years of management experience as COO and in other leadership positions in the automotive and other industries, Hansjörg Herrmann brings extensive experience and expertise in structuring and optimizing automotive value chains to our company.
With Hansjörg Herrmann, KOSTAL Automobil Elektrik is gaining a strong management personality who, together with Kai Knickmann (Chairman), Dr. Tino Naumann and Jörg Schwerak as the management team of KAE, will actively shape the further transformation of our company.
