Since February 1, 2025, Dr. Björn Dietrich has been the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Compleo Charging Solutions, a leading provider of charging technology for electric vehicles in Europe, and vaylens, an international provider of software solutions for charging and energy infrastructure – both part of the KOSTAL Group. He succeeds Joerg Lohr, who is stepping down as CEO of Compleo and vaylens at his own request. Lohr will remain in an advisory role until the end of February 2025 to ensure a smooth transition.

Compleo and vaylens are key players in the KOSTAL Group's electromobility strategy. Their products and services play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions for charging infrastructure and promoting sustainable mobility. With Dietrich, an experienced leader takes the helm of both companies. He has been with the KOSTAL Group since 2010, demonstrating his expertise in various leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President Quality, where he played a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality standards, driving innovation, and overseeing critical reorganization efforts. Additionally, Dietrich is a member of the Executive Board of KOSTAL Automobil Elektrik GmbH & Co. KG.

Dietrich brings extensive experience in the field of electromobility. Through his previous roles, he has developed deep expertise in the development of technologies for electric and hybrid vehicles. His vision for Compleo and vaylens is to build on their existing successes, further leverage the potential of the KOSTAL Group, strengthen synergies, and continue positioning both companies as leading players in the electromobility market.
